A Pandanus tree growing along the shore of Ka'anapali Beach. A common site in Maui, with some trees growing a pineapple looking fruit. Mistaken by tourists as a pineapple tree, but not related to the pineapple at all. Pineapples grow on bushes.
About Kelley King
I graduated from the Art Institute of Seattle in Commercial Photography in 1988. Professionally a freelance photographer for over 36 years. Initially I had a photography studio where I mostly photographed a wide range of products for advertising. Architectural photography was always my passion, and soon became the primary source of income. Digital cameras and Photoshop retouching changed things dramatically and today it is what I specialize in. Along this journey, I have always looked to create interesting and “one of a kind” fine art photos.
